Unique Therapy Approach

Autism Matters’ unique and innovative approach to therapy combines the expertise of multiple disciplines that are state licensed and certified and evidence-based treatment methods based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and verbal behavior. By utilizing the expertise of all disciplines, Autism Matters is able to take a whole-person approach to therapy, aimed at providing the highest quality treatments and interventions.

In doing this, Autism Matters is able to prevent a potential disconnect between disciplines by incorporating ABA principles, speech-language, occupational therapy, and/or psychotherapy. The collaboration of therapy professionals offers the best of all words for our children to develop speech, language, communication, self-help skills, gross and fine motor skills, emotional regulation, social interactions, attending, and many other skill sets that will impact their day to day functioning. Autism Matters’ goal is to offer the best therapy to help each and every child meet their full potential.

Within this framework, children have access to customized treatment plans based on individual needs in the areas of, but not limited to:

  • Communication
